ONE MORE WEEK AND IT FEELS SO GOOD

Blogs are fun and a great way to find information on a variety of things but takes a lot of time to keep up with it if you want it to be successful. The blogs I've posted helped me get an 'A' in my interactive class and as it comes to an end :( so does this blog. On the upside, I now know how to implement tactics that will increase traffic to a clients website and analyze that traffic. I’m sure I haven’t learnt it all but SEO, SEM, SERP, and PPC are in my near future…interactive marketing has taken over. Whether its paid or organic I can help you build traffic to your website. This course was interesting and fun to learn. It included topics such as: 7 traffic building strategies, what are keywords and why are they important and how should they be used?, HTLM? (whats that?), view>source?, On-page and off-page factors that help increase ranking, whats a site map?, How do you choose good Keywords...theres a process, what are links and what makes them good?, Google Analytics (is awesome), paid media and earned media...whats the difference?, Digital Touch Point (4 C's...theres really 5), pull and push strategies??, what matters in e-mail marketing? - e-mail is the original touchpoint, open-rate?, Traditional Media vs. Interactive, Why should a business have a web presence?, What are potential website objectives?, e-commerce?, What are the steps in the planning process?, In-game advertising (so cool), mobile marketing, website evaluation, analysis and measurement...in a nut shell.

My blogs are really just a conglomerate of stuff, some funny, cool and random things. Deciding what to blog about took a while because I wanted it to be interesting. I eventually decided I wanted my blog to result in three things: I wanted people to laugh, feel inspired and feel the need to go outside (experience the world). The internet has taken over especially the next generation but the only way to make great stories is to gain experience…what experience are you really gaining if your 15” screen is the only thing you see? But I’m sure you already knew that.

For all you Instagram users, there are some of you that take really nice pictures but there are some who improve existing pictures like @kardinalmelon (Hatice Korkmaz) Her pictures are mostly of Turkey but it looks like she travels a bit – her pictures are actually taken by other people but she gives credit where it’s due.
